Pregnancy Complications

Pregnancy is a very crucial stage in the life of a woman and there can be severe complications related to the stage of pregnancy. Often during the stages of pregnancy various complication arise which makes the pregnancy quite high risk in nature. Medical problems can be so crucial at times that they can spoil a very happy time in the stage of pregnancy. Of the very common complications during the stage of pregnancy is that sometimes-pregnant women can be exposed to something that could more often produce birth defects like chemicals, infections or drugs. It is often seen that chances for disorders are likely to develop. Various complications can arise at any point of time during the stages of pregnancy or after the birth of a child.

During the pregnancy stage it is often seen that women develop certain kind of disorders, which are not at all, related pregnancies. Some of these problems are so crucial that they increase the risk of problems for pregnant women or for the fetus. These conditions also include various types of disorders that are the cause of fever, infections or disorders, which require abdominal surgery. Other possible complications, which may sprout up during the stages of pregnancy, are the chances of developing diabetes and also the development of anemia. Then are placental complications which also include placental abruption where the premature detachment of a placenta from the wall of the uterus. In this case the placenta might loosen completely or incompletely. There are also some severe complications related to pregnancy. The major one among them is placenta Prevail which is the implantation of the placenta over or near the cervix in the lower part of the uterus instead of the upper part. The second complication is that of bleeding during pregnancy, which can potentially be dangerous, and contacting the doctor is necessary if the problem is experienced time and again. Preterm labor is another complication related to the stages of pregnancy and occurs only if a woman has regular contractions. Postpartum depressions are another serious issue and can lead to complication during pregnancy. The depressions are not only a cause of emotional knots but can also result from hormonal changes. The depression tends to lessen down once the hormones of the body settles down. Another complication during pregnancy is sciatic neuralgia, which is a pain from the buttocks down the leg to the foot or just the buttocks and thigh and can also be accompanied by numbness or weakness in the affected area. One of the other common pregnancy problems is toxemia which is also known as pregnancy-induced hypertension and is a dangerous condition which can happen during pregnancy and in this case the blood pressure may rise in a significant manner and can also lead to swelling of ankles and hands. It might also lead to sudden gain age of weight and the pregnant woman might also experience protein in urine.

The pregnancy complications cannot be avoided always but one must try her best to steer clear of all such complications, as the consequences of it are often harmful.
