Here is a recipe of how to prepare a baptism cake

There are various ingredients required to prepare a cake such as eggs, flour, currants, butter, sugar, sweet almonds, candied orange, candied citron, wine, brandy, nutmegs, ground mace and pinch cloves.

Firstly, mix the flour as fine as possible, than separate the white and yolk part of the egg. After that break the almonds and add into the flour, add sugar in it, add slices of candied peels, add butter and then mix the mixture well. Then stir the mixture thoroughly for about 30 minutes and then add slowly the almonds, candied peels and nutmegs and let it cook at the temperature around 320 degrees for two- three hours and after that your cake is ready to be served.
