Mariska Hargitay Pregnant

Mariska Hargitay is an American actress born on 23rd January 1964. She is very well known for her as Detective Olivia Benson. She has won many awards including Golden Globe Award. She started her career at an early age of 18 years. She was awarded as Miss Beverly Hills USA in 1982. She made her first debut with the serial “Star 80”. She believes in her father a lot and considers him as her role model. When she received Emmy Award she had thanked only her father and the strange thing was just after 17 days from there he died from multiple myeloma in Los Angeles. He was 80 years old but had lived his life to the fullest.

This is for the first time that she is pregnant and Mariska is really excited about it. As per the recent news it’s a baby boy and she is expected to deliver it in early June. She has also given the baby a sweet pet name. Since the baby is expected in the month of June she calls the little one as “Junebug”.

The father of the baby is Peter Hermann. The couple met for the first time on the sets of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. They got married in August 2004 and they announced about the pregnancy in the month of November 2005. Peter Herman is an actor as well as writer and he often use to come as Defense Attorney Trevor Langan. She is so excited about the event that she wishes to enjoy every moment of it.

Her colleagues have thrown a grand baby shower for her at the Grand Soho Hotel. The best part of the event was that the guests had bought the gifts that suited their personality and Mariska had to guess who that person was. The gifts were expensive and designer wear. But Mariska is so down to earth that whatever she got in her baby shower she had asked it to be donated to NYC’s Baby Buggy who is a non-profit making organization which takes care of the baby’s needs, clothing, and equipment for the families who cannot afford. She has started shopping at various designers outlet.

Mariska has always enjoyed the luxurious life as she was the daughter of Hollywood sex symbol of 1950 Jayne Mansfield and Hungarian bodybuilder Mickey Hargitay. She is been married to a person who is younger to her. She is currently 42 and Peter is 38. She is anyways very matured and she is also a balanced person. She has experienced everything in life and raising a baby is a new challenge for him.

Mariska is just planning to take break currently and she would resume back only when the kid is matured enough. She is a person who very well knows how to balance professional and personal life but she doesn’t wish to leave the show. She had become popular because of the show that is the main reason she doesn’t wish to leave it.
